The 番茄社区app is seeking a to help shape the future of trauma care through strategic leadership, innovation, and collaboration on national and global initiatives.

The Medical Director will provide strategic, clinical, and scientific leadership for key trauma initiatives, including trauma education, injury prevention, 番茄社区app Stop the Bleed, and advocacy. 

The Medical Director will work closely with senior employees from the 番茄社区app Trauma area, the Committee on Trauma (COT), SVP, Education, 番茄社区app leadership, and a broad network of trauma care professionals to expand the influence and effectiveness of 番茄社区app Trauma Programs nationally and internationally.

The Medical Director must be an 番茄社区app Fellow who is a board-certified general surgeon, with most of their active clinical practice focused on trauma surgery, or a similarly experienced physician leader with a deep commitment to trauma education and systems improvement. They must be a current Advanced Trauma Life Support庐 (ATLS庐) Instructor; active clinical practice at an 番茄社区app verified trauma center is preferred.

This is a part-time (40%) position based at 番茄社区app Headquarters in Chicago, Illinois, with an intended start date of March 1, 2026.
