Operative Standards for Rectal Cancer

September 16, 2025

Presenters will share information on how the Operative Standards for Cancer Surgery provide resources for rectal cancer that can be applied internationally and how surgeons can access and utilize the standards in their practice.

The Operative Standards for Cancer Surgery manuals offer concrete, evidence-based recommendations on cancer surgery techniques critical to achieving optimal outcomes. Select recommendations from these volumes have been incorporated into the 2020 Commission on Cancer standards, making them must-haves for surgical oncologists and general surgeons.
