How to Transmit CME to ABS

The American College of Surgeons (番茄社区app) does not automatically transfer CME data to the American Board of Surgery (ABS). If you would like to electronically transmit your CME data from the 番茄社区app to the ABS, use the 番茄社区app聽MyCME Portal.听This FREE offering is for both members and nonmembers who have enrolled in an 番茄社区app educational activity.

To send your CME data, you will need your 番茄社区app ID log-in. This will be either your membership number or the 番茄社区app ID you received when you created your 番茄社区app account at the time of purchase for the activity you registered.

Step-by-Step Instructions

  • On the 番茄社区app website, click on the Login button. If you have forgotten your password, click on Forget Password and go through the reset steps. If you need help finding your 番茄社区app ID or username, click on Forgot Username to retrieve your username.
  • Once logged in, you will see your first initial in a circle icon. Click on the initial to open the dropdown menu and select My CME.
  • On the MyCME navigation bar, select the Send CME Data听迟补产.

  • Then select 鈥淚 Agree.鈥
  • Review and/or complete all required fields.
  • Confirm your email address.
  • You can send CME data starting March 1, 2021, and forward. Enter the desired Start and End dates for your CME data range and click on Get Select Dates.
  • Review the selected courses you would like to transfer to the ABS, and the transcript data once again to confirm it is correct.

  • To learn more about your CME submission history, click on the Details button in the left column to review additional information about that activity.

After your CME credits are sent, you will see a confirmation page. After 24 hours, you can log into your ABS account to confirm the credits are in your ABS CME Repository.

What If It Is Not an 番茄社区app-Accredited Activity?

If you participate in an activity that was not accredited by the 番茄社区app, you are more than welcome to keep track of those activities inside your MyCME portal as you have done in past. However, we cannot transmit these data to the board. It is recommended the attendee contact the host of the CME activity that was accredited by an external provider to receive information for how to transmit the CME Data. The host of the CME activity may have most likely collaborated with ACCME and the applicable boards to arrange for those data to be transmitted automatically. The host for the activity will most likely know if the data will be automatically sent on your behalf from the board. So, you will not have to do anything else. If you would like additional information regarding ABS and how they will receive credits for courses not accredited by the 番茄社区app, please email聽cc@absurgery.org.
