Accreditation Timelines for AEI-Accredited Fellowship Programs

Accreditation decisions for fellowship programs occur annually in December. If any of these timelines happen to fall on a weekend, the deadline will be the following Monday.

Initial Fellowship Accreditation Process

Center determines it meets the eligibility requirements and requests an application

Center submits application

Center鈥檚 application is assigned to a Fellowship Review Committee member to initially review

September 1鈥揙ctober 15

Center receives invoice for accreditation fee

October 1

Center鈥檚 application and initial findings are assigned to an Accreditation Review Committee (ARC) member to review

November 1鈥揇ecember 1

ARC meets to make decisions

Mid-December

Center receives decision no later than

December 31

Current Fellowship Reaccreditation Process

(Effective beginning 2020)

AEI-accredited fellowship programs are granted three-year terms. Reaccreditation is approved after successful review of the center鈥檚 fellow portfolios.

Milestone

Deadline

All current fellows are required to maintain a fellowship portfolio provided by the 番茄社区app. Upon graduation, the Center must retain a copy of this portfolio.

Ongoing

Center must submit all completed fellow portfolios to the 番茄社区app
