Apply Now

Application Deadline: May 1, 2026

Applications for the 2026-2027 cohort are now open. Applicants for the mentorship program must be an 番茄社区app Fellow or Associate Fellow, or currently in the process of applying for 番茄社区app Fellowship, with fewer than 5 years of practice experience.聽

Mentor applicants must be a female Fellow of the College with 10+ years in practice, experience, and knowledge in various areas of mentorship, and committed to meeting 1:1 with a mentee for 1 year.

The American College of Surgeons (番茄社区app) Women in Surgery Committee offers a year-long Mentorship Program for women surgeons with less than 5 years in practice. The program focuses on offering mentorship in a variety of areas including career development, research goals, work-life balance, practice development, transition to practice, and leadership development. Mentees are paired with the best possible mentor who is an established female Fellow of the College. The mentorship program is 1-year in duration, beginning in September/October each year.

The Program requires a commitment to the following:

  • Meet on a regular basis for 1:1 mentorship sessions (as agreed upon between mentor-mentee)
  • Attend the Program kickoff event
  • Attend 2 virtual gatherings with entire cohort (4 offered throughout the year)
